Alternatives is looking for a Junior Digital Marketing Executive to join our clients Marketing team and work on a number of digital marketing initiatives. This is an exciting time to join their business in a period of growth and digital transformation. Your main responsibilities will be providing digital marketing support to current digital projects, managing the social media calendar, creating content, managing our branded merchandise and providing branch marketing support. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a number of planned digital projects due to begin in the next few months.

You will understand the purpose of an organization’s online presence and work to harness it to improve our brand presence and customer experience. You will work closely with and report to the Head of Marketing to assist with the design and execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, paid advertising across our 3 brands.

A perfect candidate is a team player with a good knowledge of digital marketing tools and processes and can execute on a variety of marketing tasks with minimum supervision and within deadlines. They will be a good communicator who can work with our team of branch managers to provide timely and creative localised marketing support. 1-3 years marketing experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities
•    Conducting market research and analyzing marketing surveys to help improve the company’s marketing strategy.
•    Monitoring the performance of ongoing marketing campaigns and compiling reports for the Head of Marketing
•    Creating and posting online content for the company’s websites and social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn)
•    Collating marketing collateral from our suppliers and creating online product information.
•    Point of contact for branch marketing support for local advertising and in-store events, and running localised promotions.
•    Assisting the marketing team with a range of activities.
 
Requirements
•    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or digital marketing essential.
•    Good of marketing principles with some experience of content creation
•    Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
•    Ability to work with content managed websites along with some experience in the design and implemention of a social/digital campaign 
•    Working knowledge of HubSpot, Wordpress and Google AdWords and Shopify is an advantage
•    Ideally will possess skills in various areas like graphic design, images, videos, and audio marketing
•    Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under strict deadlines
•    Great communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced changing environment.
•    Ability to work as a team member.
    Full drivers license and access to a car.
