Job description

This is a dual-role opportunity for a highly motivated Digital Business Development & Project Manager. You will be instrumental in driving digital growth by identifying, securing, and managing new client projects. This role requires a blend of strategic sales acumen and hands-on project management expertise, with a split between business development and project delivery. You will report to the Head of Client Services and collaborate closely with the web development and design teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
  • Lead Generation & Acquisition:
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities in the digital space, focusing on eCommerce, business websites, and landing pages.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
  • Develop and execute targeted digital sales and marketing strategies to generate qualified leads.
  • Network effectively to build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and proposal development to closing deals.
  • Track and report on sales performance, ensuring targets are consistently met.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy:
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' business goals and digital strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. Project Management:
    • Client Onboarding & Project Delivery:
    • Manage new client projects from initial briefing to final execution.
    • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication.
    • Translate client requirements into actionable briefs for the web development and design teams.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
    • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Manage client expectations and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
    • Use data and insights to inform project decisions and drive improvements.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Maintain strong client relationships throughout project lifecycles. Qualifications and Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital business development, ideally within a digital agency or related field.
    • Proven track record of success in winning web development projects and driving revenue growth.
    • Solid understanding of web design and development processes.
    • Proficiency in analytics and eCommerce platforms.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
    • Proven experience in leading website projects from inception to launch.
    • Excellent presentation and client reporting skills.
    • Familiarity with project management tools and financial reporting.
    • Experience with design briefs and UI/UX processes.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Data-driven approach with proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
    • Fluent English speaking.
    • Strong understanding of the Irish market.
    Desirable:
    • Experience with CRM software.
    • Previous experience in a digital agency, SaaS, or technology-driven environment.
    Other:
    • Office-based role in Ranelagh, Dublin.
